Hillsboro - Charles Ludlow, 82, lifelong resident of Fountain County died at the home of George Sentman, just east of Hillsboro, Saturday morning at 2:30 o'clock. He had been ill for more than a year with a complications of diseases. The deceased, a retired carpenter was born Aug 19, 1855 near Stone Bluff. He was thrice married, the first time to Miss Ann Sutton. Following her death he was married to Mrs. Mary Gerhart. After her death, he was married to Mrs. Alice Douglas who also preceded him in death. He is survived by five children all by the first marriage: Guy of Evanston, Ill, Ernest and Glenn both of Veedersburg, Mrs. Alice Runyan of Indianapolis and Mrs. Linnie Minnick of Veedersburg. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one brother, sherman Ludlow of Indianapolis. The body was taken to the home of a son, Glenn at Veedersburg where it will remain until Monday noon. Funeral services will be held at Osborne Praire near Stone Bluff, Monday afternoon at 1:30 with burial in the nearby cemetery...
